- Roasts (Chuck, Arm, Rump, Sirloin Tip) — approx. 40–60 lbs
- Ground Beef — approx. 150–200 lbs
- Short Ribs & Back Ribs — approx. 20–30 lbs
- Brisket — approx. 10–15 lbs
- Stew Meat — approx. 15–20 lbs
- Organ Meats (Heart, Liver, Tongue, Oxtail — optional, upon request) — approx. 10–20 lbs
- Soup Bones (Marrow & Knuckle Bones) — approx. 20–30 lbs
The exact cuts and quantities will vary based on the size of the animal and your custom cut preferences. We'll work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want.
What is included in a Half Beef Share?
A half beef share is exactly what it sounds like — half of a whole. You can expect approximately half the quantities listed above for each cut. This is a great option if you want the same variety and quality of a whole share but need less meat or have limited freezer space.
A half beef share typically yields 200–250 lbs of packaged meat and requires approximately 8–10 cubic feet of freezer space.
How much freezer space do I need for a Whole Beef Share?
A whole beef share typically yields 400–500 lbs of packaged meat and requires approximately 16–20 cubic feet of freezer space. A standard chest freezer works great for this.
How long does the beef stay fresh in the freezer?
When properly vacuum-sealed and stored at 0°F or below, your beef will stay fresh for 12–24 months. We recommend consuming it within a year for the best flavor and quality.
How is the beef packaged and delivered?
All cuts are vacuum-sealed and labeled, then packed in insulated boxes with dry ice or gel packs to ensure they arrive frozen and fresh.
Can I customize my cuts?
Yes! We work with our butcher to accommodate custom cut preferences. When you place your order, you'll have the opportunity to specify your preferences for steak thickness, roast sizes, ground beef patties vs. bulk, and more.
